The Designing Geelong webinar series features presentations by global and local experts.
Hosted by Revitalising Central Geelong, a local and state government partnership implementing a 10-year program of revitalisation in central Geelong, the series is designed to increase understanding and awareness of how we can all contribute to the future of Geelong, regardless of our roles, ages or backgrounds.
The free webinar series is an opportunity for participants to learn from international examples and discuss issues relating to built form, the distinctiveness of cities and how we feel connected to place.
Community members interested in urban design and place-making are invited to participate in the series.
Hosted by Dr Jonathan Daly
City of Greater Geelong Manager of Urban Design and Heritage, Dr Jonathan Daly hosts each webinar.
"As Geelong grows, it is important that we continue to embrace innovation and creativity, upholding our status as a UNESCO City of Design, which gives us a platform to create a thriving, world-class liveable city," said Dr Daly.
Speaker presentations are followed by Question and Answer sessions.
