A cultural hub is born! Central Geelong will become a place where you can comfortably access your cultural assets in an integrated, accessible and distinctively beautiful precinct.

Driven by the Smart City Initiative, the Arts and Cultural Masterplan encapsulating your insights, will drive this cultural transformation by linking and enhancing existing facilities, both practically and visually, through innovative design.

The precinct will develop a unique and unified character via:

• A seamless integration between the precinct and other parts of the CBD through a fusion of visual and functional streetscape features
• Greening through strategic landscaping, adding plantings both horizontally and vertically.
• A greater art presence via street based arts and cultural events and projects, as well as artistic wall installations.
